MOESK provides electricity to street lighting facilities under the “Svetly Gorod” program.

As part of the Svetly Gorod program of the Moscow United Electric Grid Company PJSC (MOESK, part of Rosseti group of companies) adopted by the Moscow Region Governor, in the west of the Moscow Region, 374 contracts for the implementation of utility connection (UC) of outdoor lighting facilities were concluded in 2017. 157 contracts of these are objects of roads, stopping points, pedestrian crossings, etc.

During the period from 2017 to the present, 200 contracts have already been executed, including 91 contracts for the coverage of road objects. According to the technical conditions concluded between MOESK and the applicant, a part of these agreements was executed with work from the side of the grid company.

As the Director of the branch of PJSC MOESK - Zapadny Power Grids division Dmitry Bitney noted that the obligations to implement the utility connection of the company’s power engineers are fulfilled with high quality and on time.

In the Moscow region, the project “Svetly Gorod” was launched in 2017. The implementation of this project will remove insufficiently lit places in the region, increase the energy efficiency of street lighting and create a comfortable environment for people in places of leisure.
