At the All-Russian meeting held on April 19, 2019 “On the results of the passage of subjects of electric power industry and housing and utilities facilities of the heating season 2018/2019”, the head of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision A.V. Aleshin highly appreciated the work of power engineers of PJSC Moscow United Electric Grid Company (MOESK, part of the Rosseti group of companies).

As part of the report, it was noted that the number of technological violations in the grid 110 kilovolts and above was reduced by 28% in the autumn-winter period of 2018–2019 compared to the same period of 2017–2018 (from 184 to 133 cases), while the decrease in the accident rate due to reasons related to shortcomings in operation amounted to 41%, and to the late detection of defects by 81%.

Power engineers of PJSC MOESK during the passage of the open request for proposals in 2018-2019 in the Moscow region did not allow mass outages and serious disruptions in the operation of power grid equipment. Thus, they made a significant contribution to the reduction of accident rates and confirmed the high level of availability of equipment and grids of the power company to work in winter conditions.

For his achievements in ensuring energy security, professionalism and competence, P. A. Sinyutin, General Director of PJSC MOESK, was awarded the Certificate of Honor of Rostechnadzor.
