PJSC “MOESK” (belongs to the Rosseti Group of Companies) equips high voltage substations with modern telemechanics systems in order to increase reliability of operation and process control. Over 25 main substations of the Company will be re-equipped in 2015. Earlier the re-equipment was completed at 145 out of 609 substations.

The works are carried out within the framework of the Program on modernization and expansion of the system of collecting and transmitting information at substations and the works package under the Program on developing and improving reliability of the operation and process control system concerning its telemechanics component.

PJSC “MOESK” believes that ensuring reliable operation of the power system, including in autumn and winter, is one of the main tasks of the centralized operation control. In order to accomplish the task, Moscow power supply system control stations of all levels of control are being equipped with automated systems of centralized power transmission control. Their use makes possible the transmission of remote data on the current operation mode and condition of power facilities from telemechanics systems of such facilities.

In order to bring the existing telemechanics systems into line with modern requirements, all 35-220 kV substations should have two direct remote data transmission channels to upper levels of control including to the Moscow Regional Centralized Control Center. The volume of the remote data collected will be also increased in accordance with the effective standards.

By the end of 2022, all the works will be completed and all high voltage substations of PJSC “MOESK” will be equipped with modern telemechanics systems.
