For the first time in Moscow, during the construction of the 110 kV Vernadskaya-Semenovskaya double-circuit cable line, the specialists of "Rosseti Moscow Region" (PJSC MOESK) installed a container-type transition point with switchgear cubicles. This is a revolutionary solution in the installation of high-voltage power cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation.

This technology has significant advantages over conventional cable box designs in the construction of cable lines. Firstly, it greatly facilitates installation, secondly, it reduces operating costs, reduces the required space, thirdly, the proposed solution is inherently safe, including from an environmental point of view.

Power engineers have tested another novelty at this facility - this is an innovative closed transition point, which is modular, i.e. made by the block principle and organically fit into the surrounding landscape.

Supervision at the facility was carried out by specialists of the Moscow High-Voltage Grids branch. The work was carried out by JSC MOESK-Engineering (subsidiaries and affiliates of "Rosseti Moscow Region").

The cable laying at the facility was carried out both open and closed (trenchless) using the method of horizontal directional drilling (HDD). When laying with the HDD method, one of the sections of the route set a record for laying depth - 33 meters.

The experience of high-voltage power engineers at "Rosseti Moscow Region" and the balanced innovation policy of the company are aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of power supply in the capital region.
