PJSC "Moscow United Electric Grid Company" (MOESK, is included in GC "Rosseti") and LLC "Modern Conversion Technologies" (SKT) within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum - 2018 signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

The signatures on the document were delivered by Pyotr Sinyutin, general director of PJSC "MOESK", and Alexey Fomichev, general director of "SKT".

As part of the agreement, LLC "SKT" plans to deploy and operate innovative "FORA"-type charging stations in Moscow and the Moscow Region, to service and repair them. PJSC "MOESK", in its turn, will ensure the technological connection of charging stations to the electric grids of the capital region.

The companies will jointly develop a network of centralized monitoring and management that will allow to provide software updates to the ECS remotely, the collection and storage of telemetry data, and management of the process in case of a possible malfunction.

In addition, it is planned to develop a mobile application which will make it easier for users to search for and build an optimal route to the charging stations, determine the current status of the station (busy / free), and provide other convenient user functions. "Six years ago, the market for charging infrastructure in Russia was completely absent. MOESK created a network of charging stations in Moscow and the region (MOESK-EV) from scratch, and showed all potential market participants that there is such a possibility. Today we are attracting partners to the development of charging infrastructure, while implementing the technological connection of ECS. We are confident that our partners will be able to create a full-fledged business in this sector of the market", stressed Pyotr Sinyutin.

LLC "SKT" plans to supply about 100 charging power plants only for Moscow and the region.

"A systematic and holistic approach to the matter is extremely important", said Alexei Fomichev. "Today, with such a strong partner as MOESK, we create and implement an infrastructure solution that will promote the development of a new concept of the automotive industry in our country and more efficient use of energy resources. The trend is defined. Opportunities for growth in the market share of vehicles on new energy carriers are currently being created and their technological and territorial scaling is inevitable. "
